Personal:

400m/800m competitively in track in high school.  Took 15 years off. Started running again in 2010.  Married to my beautiful wife, Tiffany, with 2 little boys, now 4 and 6.  I'm a civil engineer working for the Indiana DOT in Seymour, IN.   I live in a slightly larger town about 20 miles north - Columbus, IN.  Originally from Lexington, KY.

Lunch run - Segment tester, + 2x1mi. AT (?) -  according to weather app., some sort of riduclous air quality thing going on today that I definitely felt (?) trying to run any amount of up tempo.  Segment hunting time again - Carr Hill East is a 0.65 mile up hill segment with a pretty decent CR to chase.  Tested that out first and managed something about 1:00 too slow :).  Okay - so I have some work to do... recovery jog after Segment test, and then tried a 1 mile repeat type workout.  Fail - anything under 7 minute pace and I am gasping for air.  pulled the plug after 2 at 6:48, and 6:55.  Crazy and discouraging - need some recovery time to let the volume sink in. 10 mi. total - 82:32

That's the high mileage talking, not a sign of your fitness, fyi.

On a Strava note, the uphill segments are tough in general, since they're odd distances.

Thanks, Mike. You are right - Took some recovery time (I hate it)... :) Postponed the Sunday thing also.
