Personal:

400m/800m competitively in track in high school.  Took 15 years off. Started running again in 2010.  Married to my beautiful wife, Tiffany, with 2 little boys, now 4 and 6.  I'm a civil engineer working for the Indiana DOT in Seymour, IN.   I live in a slightly larger town about 20 miles north - Columbus, IN.  Originally from Lexington, KY.

Easy 20 minutes in the morning.  Feeling a bit fresher.  2.4 miles

Easy 30 minutes at lunch in Tipton Lakes - 3.5 miles

Lunch workout: Grandview Samich: ModRide / GV loop HardRun / ModRide

6.6 mile ride to Grandview on the bike - pretty decent effort 6.6mi. - 23:30

Hopped off bike, and 4mi TH and 2 AT around the 7.1 mile Grandview Loop.  Had some lower 6 minute GAP, and was working hard.  made the 7 minute pace feel easy for 2 more at AT.  

6.6 mile ride home with moderate effort - 24:49

AM run around the neighborhood: 4.3 miles - 37:03

Lunch Ride/Run/Ride:  5.14 miles scenic route over to Tipton Lakes, hop off and easy jogging around Tipton, and 3.77 mile ride home.

Solid workout on the road around the neighborhood: 16x0.25 miles at target 5k pace.  Kept it in the zone of what a 5k might be in about a month: 82-85 seconds, with the last one under 80.  10 miles total - 70 minutes

Evening run with 8x20-30 sec. pickups 5.37 miles - 45:03.  Double day was pretty decent.  got down in to lower 5 minute range on pickups.  Running pretty hard.
