Game time decision to hop in to the Indy Moumental Marathon.  Literally decided 90 minutes before the race... :)  Turned out pretty well:  logistically, I hopped in the car an hour before the race, hit zero traffic, parked in the state garage 1 block for the start finish areas, and ran the race pretty well:

Started off with the 3 hour pace group, suffered through some crowded aid stations, and pulled away around 7 or 8 miles (After the split off of the half marathon).

Splits: 6:45, 42, 25, 34, 46, 47, 43, 48, 48, 45, 43, 37, 33, (1:28:40 for First Half)

6:43, 37, 43, 50, 37, 39, 30, 27, 29, 41, 46, 34, 6:09, 0.52 miles at 5:38 pace.

Water and gatorades were pretty regular intake, and ate 1 Coffee Clif Shot at mile 17, and half of another one at 22 miles.  That seemed to be the Goldilocks on the nutrition meter.  It seems like the nutrition thing changes every year for me, so it was good to hit this one within the right target zone.

Felt strong all day, and not too tore up afterward.  Spring board in to Tunnel Hill 100 miles in 1 week, now.
