5k < 17 Personal: 400m/800m competitively in track in high school. Took 15 years off. Started running again in 2010. Married to my beautiful wife, Tiffany, with 2 little boys, now 4 and 6. I'm a civil engineer working for the Indiana DOT in Seymour, IN. I live in a slightly larger town about 20 miles north - Columbus, IN. Originally from Lexington, KY.

| 12x0.25mi. @ 5k Goal Pace. Ran down SR 11 to Central track and did most of workout on track. Solid workout - All were in the 5:20-5:30 range. Effort level far exceeded what a 5k pace is right now, but, that's what taining is for! 10.54 total - 78 min.

| Hard workout in the wind running around streets in the neighborhoods. 4x0.5, 3x0.25, 3x0.13 @ 5k goal pace. Headwind in 2 directions did't help, but, I did not do well in this workout. struggled with 5:30 pace and was into 6 minute pace in the headwind. 7 miles total - 49:xx

3x2mi. HMP: Stuck in there around 6:00-6:05. Did it all on the track at Central, so that's kinda cheating, but, hey, oh well.

Evening run - loop around Grandview. I really love this place. Serious consideration going on for buying a house in this place... Arbor can suck it :)
