Keep my Long-term Running Goals consistent for more than a month... Fail
400m/800m competitively in track in high school. Took 15 years off. Started running again in 2010. Married to my beautiful wife, Tiffany, with 2 little boys. 6' tall and fluctuate around 150lbs. I'm a civil engineer working for the Indiana DOT in Seymour, IN. I live in a slightly larger town about 20 miles north - Columbus, IN. Originally from Lexington, KY.
AM - Long Run - Grand View out and back. Stopped around 5 miles and went number 2 in the fine corn fields of CR "x". Shortly there after, started in to the loop around Grand View as a storm rolled in. Got poured on for about 30 minutes, and enjoyed watching the lightning not hit me. 20.5 miles pretty slow, but, much less suffering than esterday's humid hell.
AM: Long Run - 31.2 miles in 4:40:06. All Road, but a good amount of climbing Youth Camp out and back, with 2xGrand View Loops in the middle. Left foot really hurting on the bottom. Is this plantar fasci ? 1 stop in the woods, and ran out of water in the 2 handhelds carrying. Very good weather - 60 degrees and breezy for most of the run. Got a little warm at the end. Fortunately, a hose was available at one of new neighborhoods under oncstruction.
