Personal:

400m/800m competitively in track in high school.  Took 15 years off. Started running again in 2010.  Married to my beautiful wife, Tiffany, with 2 little boys, now 4 and 6.  I'm a civil engineer working for the Indiana DOT in Seymour, IN.   I live in a slightly larger town about 20 miles north - Columbus, IN.  Originally from Lexington, KY.

AM race in the sunny heat.

5k Race - 18:30 (5:33, 5:53, 6:15, 0:50 for 0.14)

Late PM: Red Eye Relay in Bloomington, IN - first leg at 8p - 0.75 mi. WU jogging and strides.

1st Leg:  3.82mi. - 22:08 (5:30, 6:10, 5:30, 4:57 for 0.82mi.) - net downhill of about 350'.  One portion was so steep downgrade that I ahd to put on the breaks to keep from falling - pace got up to 4:15/mi. pace on that portion.

2.5 hrs later - 2nd Leg:  5.87mi. - 38:15 (7:04, 6:18, 6:25, 6:22, 6:02, 6:02 for 0.87 mi.) - the first mile is a steep climb, and the second mile is still steadily increasing in elevation.  I was toast by the end of this one.

Third leg was run at 1:51am - 4.26mi.-26:29 I'll count this one on next weeks'
