Personal:

400m/800m competitively in track in high school.  Took 15 years off. Started running again in 2010.  Married to my beautiful wife, Tiffany, with 2 little boys, now 4 and 6.  I'm a civil engineer working for the Indiana DOT in Seymour, IN.   I live in a slightly larger town about 20 miles north - Columbus, IN.  Originally from Lexington, KY.

Late AM easy run with strides - 5 mi. w/ 5x30-40sec. up to top speed - 37:17.  Its 75 degrees and sunny here, which is good because:

Today was the first day home with Jude Tucker Bell!  He was born Monday night at 11:02pm. We have been in the hospital since adhering to the 48 hour rule.  Tiffany was amazing and the my son is beautiful and already full of beans! :)  Hospital staff was awesome.  

 

PM: Terrace Lake Hill Workout - 10 x hills - most are about 0.15mi., the last being about 0.3mi.

I am so happy for the three of you. Two things I remember very clear whenever we were leaving the hospital with Oliver was "they actually trust us to take him home? and What do we do now?"
